OK so you’re in the booth, the dance floor is empty, and you have three hours to fill before the club closes, what are you gonna play?

Chances are you’ve already had a think about what tracks will go down well, which ones are currently ‘doing it for you’ and of course which ones sound good together. Chances are in fact that you’ve gone a step further and written a playlist for the evening.

Now we all know that playlists need to be flexible, and that song choice is often a reaction to the mood of the evening and the audience, but it certainly pays to come prepared.

This in mind, BeatsBase allows registered users to upload playlists to their own profile, each with details of, for example, when and where it was used. Users can then comment on each others sets, exchanging new ideas and track combinations ensuring that every gig is fresher than the last!
